It generally takes a minimum of 2 to 4 weeks to launch a round and get the live voting process started.

If you’re interested in running a QF-enabled round without our assistance, you'll be able to after we launch our open beta of Grants Stack in early Q2.

Gitcoin Grants isn’t going anywhere! Gitcoin Grantees are at the epicenter of Gitcoin. We just finished running a series of scaled-down test grants rounds (the Gitcoin Alpha Rounds) on Grants Stack and will be running the Gitcoin Beta Rounds April 25-May 9. The new program format will feature Gitcoin Core Rounds, voted on by our community, and Featured Rounds, partner rounds running in parallel—see more info on the new Gitcoin Grants Program structure. We will be sunsetting our old platform sometime in Q3. Past grantees will be notified several times prior to us fully sunsetting their old profiles. We’re also exploring a Github Auth`d API endpoint to enable people to mint a VC for their project.
